Tutorials
Read tutorials
Read tutorials to learn about the platform and its functionalities. All the trainings and tutorials are available here : https://dive.edito.eu/training
Launch tutorials
Launch tutorials with services directly opened in the Datalab. These trainings will use your personal account ressources.
Datalab
Explore the Datalab.
Service catalog
Services are organized by tabs based on their type. All created services will be accessible in the “Playground” section.
Authentication
To launch a service or process, you must be authenticated. You can authenticate using:
- Your Copernicus Marine credentials
- A new account created directly on EDITO
- Your EDITO credentials
Launching a service
Learn how to launch services, configure their resources, Git, S3 and access secrets, as well as how to bookmark pre-configured services.
When launching a service, you can customize several parameters, like :
- Resources: Configure minimum and maximum resource limits for CPU and RAM. Minimum values represent what resources your service is guaranteed to have. Maximum values represent what your service will have access to if available.
- Git: Pass Git parameters to access private or public remote repositories.
- Secrets: Pass credentials to access values stored in “My Secrets” on EDITO. These values are injected as environment variables in your service.
- S3 Configuration: Pass credentials to access values stored in “My Files” on EDITO. These values are injected as environment variables in your service.
- Ingress Details: Specify a custom ingress in the format
mydomain.dive.edito.eu. If not left as default, the service is considered permanent.
We strongly recommend saving your service configuration before launching it using the Save configuration button. You can also change its Friendly name to identify your saved configurations better.
My services and my processes
Explore your launched and pre-configured services.
All your saved services and processes are available on the right side of your My Services or My Processes page. This allows you to easily find your configurations and start pre-configured services. You can also rename your services and view their logs.
All running services use your resources. Even if a service is permanent, its data is not saved by EDITO. If the service is restarted, internal storage will be lost unless you implement your own backup. To stop a service while preserving its temporary storage, we recommend pausing it instead.
My secrets
Learn how to add new personal secrets and how to use them in your services.
You can store credentials, tokens or any sensible data in your My Secrets page. These credentials can be accessed from a service through environment variables. To do this, the service must have the “Vault” section enabled before startup.
File Explorer
Learn how to add new personal files and how to use them in your services.
You can permanently store files in the File Explorer page. These files are stored in an S3 bucket, which you can access from your services or processes via S3 credentials passed as environment variables at service startup.
Files can be private or public. You can also store and launch Jupyter notebooks directly from this page.
All content in this space uses your “permanent storage” resources.
My account
Learn how to connect to external services such as GitHub and GitLab, how to update your language and display mode.
